I used to sit next to Mike during the old National Game days, and had such fond memories like everyone else. He was such a gentle, kind and hilarious man. He soon realised I had a very sweet tooth, and at lunch times he would say “pssst would you like a chocolate bar?” because he would bring in a pack of penguins/clubs from the supermarket and share them with me. 

A genuinely lovely man.
